We took advantage of the fork's offer. I strongly recommend the pappardelle with wild boar, of which I took a second portion, although the first was already abundant. Excellent value for money even without the fork. Recommended without any doubt.

Had cabonara and pizza. Before bread with truffles. The food was very good and the antipasti has intense flavor. The waiter was very nice and vigilant. He had some kind of elegance =) Very nice if you want could food for reasonable price.

Restaurant located 5 minutes walk from both SMN station and Piazza del Duomo. Varied menu. Both Italian and typical Tuscan cuisine of meat and fish, to satisfy tourists and Florentines. Overall good dishes and generous portions. Prices in the norm considering that we are in the center of Florence.

In the streets of Florence we asked for directions from a nice gentleman who accompanied us to this restaurant. Cozy place. Fast but attentive service. It is a restaurant that also offers a pizzeria service. We ate a very good Fiorentina accompanied by a good side dish of beans, in addition to the classic salad. The house Chianti is good but also very full-bodied ? Finally, we ate a profitterol, to my taste too full of chocolate. Overall the Giglio Rosso met our expectations.

This is a nice place run by two older brothers. The wait staff was accommodating with help selecting something I had not had before. Started with ( Coccoli with stracchio cheese and Parma ham ). The Coccoli was kind of puff pasta that you would top with the super soft stracchio cheese and some Parma ham on top. The appetizer tasted great and was worth trying something new. The main course was the Bistecca alla florentina ( aka T-bone steak florentine style. It was served medium-rare to rare with a burnt outside and a crystallized salt rub. The steak went well with the recommended red wine. The meal was filling and left no room for desert. The meal was priced right which was not too expensive. I will definitely return here again if the opportunity permits.

Local always ready, very fast service, friendly waiters, very good food. After the first time here, I will certainly not change, indeed I will continue to make it known to relatives to friends, and to all of you. A special place, typically Tuscan, where I could taste polenta bruschetta with porcini mushrooms and the famous Florentine meat. Average costs and abundant quantities therefore fair value for money. Very nice the way the Florentines are served, cut at the moment. I recommend to book with TheFork.

Great restaurant! We went for a Sunday lunch, a very courteous and helpful staff, a restaurant right in the center of the city, in a cathedral, welcoming even if with no particular aesthetic or particular furniture. But being a restaurant what determines the evaluation is the cuisine, exceptional, we tried different dishes, spaghetti with black and salmon, typical cutting board, and of course Florentine, all very good! And quite honest prices, especially consider the city which is quite expensive, also you can take advantage of promotions by booking the TheFork thamite app. Experience definitely worth repeating, congratulations.

Food was great. Service was excellent.

Absolutely trash. The restaurant was empty once we got there and the lady was the rudest. She was a little older with short hair. She was banging glasses on the table and making a lot of noice cuz she was mad. We are foreigners but we knew both Italian and English, my cousin spoke in English since she doesn’t speak Italian. And once we have our order the lady was making fun of us in Italian!!!! As if I didn’t understand. It took a lot of guts sitting down and enduring the horrible pizza they had made but not to ruin our trip we ate and left right away. Idk whether she is rasist or just plain oll a horrible person but will never be back. No thank you.

It was delicious fantastic. It was my first Tibbon steak to come to Florence, and I was all satisfied with my boyfriend. It was so impressive that the person who seemed to be the owner cut himself. Everyone looked at our table and I was so proud!

Oh my goodness. Thanks to a recommendation from someone who we met, we found this place. We went in and found it very comfortable. Met the two owners, talk about all smiles! The wait staff found tables for us right away. Table for four please - even if you are full, thank you very much. What to eat? We're going to leave it up to you. So we start with the anti pasta, of course. It's Italy, remember? Then after slamming that, comes the ravioli and pasta with meat sauce and gnocchi. Best dang gnocchi I have ever eaten. Now, finally, the salad. Soooo good, and the vinegar was top shelf! You know what I mean if you have been to Germany and Italy. Hey wait, there's more? Oh my goodness! Now they come out and cook the steak right in front of us. And bring the roasted potatoes, which I love, and they didn't disappoint. The steaks were perfect. Desert was next. You can have one or smaller helpings of several. I had the teramasu and the 1000 layer cake. I was slammed now, and they bring out the limoncello. Yummy. Oh, and needless to say, there was ample wine and waters throughout. Just when we thought it couldn't get better... in comes a guitar trio - the Bartenders- friends of the owners, sets up and kicks some USA, Italian, and European tunes. FANTASTICO! If ever in Florence - Firenza - you SHOULD eat here - you will not be disappointed. Might want to make reservations. I will add pics of all of this. Thanks for reading and looking.

Dreadful food, largely inedible. I had fettuccine a la porcine - porcine slimey and inedible, parmesan was ready grated and flavourless. Not cheap - we had paid only 10 euros more the previous evening for a fabulous 3 course meal with much better wine. Staff very helpful.

The restaurant is very nice, rustic with stone details, the food is excellent but the pride of this restaurant is the waitress Silvana. Very well prepared, smiling and professional, she made sure that ours was not just a lunch but an "experience". Thank you very much Silvana, see you next time!
